Khalil is currently the Chief Operating Officer in Asia Pacific covering the COO area in 6 entities: Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Indonesia and Japan. Khalil is based in Hong Kong since August 2022. Khalil has extensive experience in operational management and leading regional and global teams. Prior to his current role, Khalil was Global Head of Trade and Position Life Cycle Team since 2018, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and business performance activities related to core Middle Office functions including Trade Support, Corporate Actions, Proxy Voting, Cash & Securities Reconciliations and Treasury Cash Management. Khalil joined AllianzGI in 2003 and held various positions across different functions within the organisation. He was appointed as the Head of Data Management, Pricing Team in 2006 before moving into the role of Head of Operations Department France in 2013. He became Co-Head Investment Operations Europe in 2015, responsible for managing the team to provide operational support to the Investment, Trading and Sales teams. Khalil graduated with a Master degree in Finance with Honours from the French Paris II Assas University in France.
