Samuel Nethersole is the Regional Lead for Investment Management Group (IMG) Service in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, operating within Vanguard's Finance Division. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Samuel is a key member of the Global IMG Service Leadership team, which encompasses divisional functions co-located with investment teams, including Investment Support, Investment Data, and Investment Performance Analysis. In his role, Samuel leads IMG service operations across APAC, ensuring robust and scalable processes that support Vanguard's investment capabilities.

He plays a pivotal role in overseeing change initiatives across emerging markets in the region, bringing deep operational expertise and actively contributing to industry forums to shape optimal operational workflows. Samuel has been with Vanguard for nine years. Prior to joining the firm, he spent six years at Goldman Sachs in London and Sydney, where he worked across Prime Brokerage and Equity Capital Market Syndicate Operations. He holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.
