Subra Shankhar is a Senior Advisor at TradeFlow Capital Management, specialising in trade partnerships and digital eco system development.
He focuses on bridging the trade finance gap for SMEs by connecting institutional capital—including banks and multilateral institutions—to non-bank platforms. His work spans structuring, capital formation, and portfolio construction, with an emphasis on short-duration, self-liquidating real-economy exposures. Subra began his career in trade finance from a technology perspective and has since evolved into product structuring and capital development. He is particularly interested in improving capital deployment efficiency and expanding access to underserved markets.
Subra is also the Principal of TOTTA – a think tank focused on TradeTech and a partner at T3i Partner Network – a global network of senior Trade Finance professionals.
