Vadim Shpak is a Venture Partner at Vickers Venture Partners, where he leads global business development and investment strategy across Europe and Asia. With over 30 years of entrepreneurial and investment experience, he focuses on early-stage deep tech and life sciences investments, working closely with founders to scale globally and raise capital.
He has been directly involved in fundraising and investing for multiple venture funds and portfolio companies, securing over US$200 million from institutional investors across Europe.
His portfolio includes category-defining companies across AI, fintech infrastructure, climate tech, and biotech, with several reaching multibillion-dollar valuations. Vadim is an active speaker at leading international tech and venture capital events, including Web Summit Qatar, GITEX Asia, and Singapore FinTech Festival, SuperVenture Berlin. He is also a regular judge and mentor at global startup competitions and accelerator programs, including the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition, as well as mentoring roles with Techstars and Startupbootcamp.
In academia, Vadim teaches venture capital at Singapore Management University and Nanyang Technological University where he delivers practitioner-led programs focused on real-world investment decision-making, portfolio construction, and fundraising strategy.
